I am carefully selecting the behavior spells too and I refuse to pause the battle every 2 seconds! Am I the stupid one and I am doing it all wrong? Are there any settings I should look for that I don't know about? Is this actually a bug? I tried the Behavior option on and off and it's the same result. I even saw moments when Cassandra was sitting still for like 2-3 seconds smelling the flowers mid-fight! And Every time I put Solas out of the middle of the battle he spends have the way to go where I tell him to (still in range of firing enemies and battlefield) and then (wasting battle time) goes back into the Dragon's mouth same for Iron Bull and Cassandra when I tell them to go for the little dragons, after I go to my main they ignore what I set them to do.
Look, I understand the concept of micromanaging a battle and I am all pro for that but is this game's AI supposed to be this stupid (so I don't say retarded)? I mean I play on Hard Difficulty and pause the battle to set tasks to my Companions but they are like my little brother NEVER LISTEN!!! Don't get me wrong I love this game to the bits but sometimes.įor example in a Dragon battle(Cold Vurnelability) I went with Cassandra on full tank, Bull on full Dragon and Solas on freezing spells + Me Assasin Rogue.
